Language Accessibility

Our portal is available in three language editions — Marathi (मराठी), Hindi (हिंदी), and English. You can switch your language at any time using the language selector in the top navigation bar. Your preference is remembered for 30 days.

Text & Visual Display

Text Size: You can increase or decrease the font size of this page using your browser's built-in zoom controls. On most browsers, use Ctrl + to zoom in and Ctrl - to zoom out.
Dark Mode: The portal automatically respects your operating system's dark mode preference and switches themes accordingly.
High Contrast: Our dark mode uses a high-contrast colour palette to improve readability for visually impaired readers.

Keyboard Navigation

The portal is fully navigable using a keyboard alone. Use the Tab key to move between interactive elements and Enter to activate links and buttons. The mobile navigation menu can be toggled using the keyboard without requiring a mouse or touchscreen.

Screen Readers

Our pages are built with semantic HTML5 elements and ARIA labels to support screen reader software. We use a single, descriptive <h1> per page to maintain clear document hierarchy. All article images include descriptive alt text.

Video Content

Some articles embed YouTube videos. YouTube provides built-in accessibility features including closed captions, adjustable playback speed, and keyboard controls. We encourage viewers to use YouTube's built-in accessibility toolbar available within each embedded player.

Mobile Accessibility

Our portal is fully responsive and optimised for mobile devices. The navigation menu collapses into an accessible hamburger drawer on smaller screens. All touch targets meet recommended minimum size guidelines for accessibility.

Known Limitations

We are continuously working to improve our accessibility. Currently, some older archived articles may not have complete image alt text. We are working to address this in a future update.
